Our project was an extensive renovation & modernization of an 80 year old house. Amadeo’s design concept was innovative, artistic, highly functional & respectful of the age and character of our home and the way we live.

In late October 2003 we moved in to 91 Latimer Avenue. This Classical styled home was built with quality and attention to detail that was superior to any other home costing twice as much. We can honestly say that friends & family will be calling Mr. Barbini when it is time to build there dream homes. We are very happy with the Architectural & functional layout of this home. Thirteen years ago Amedeo Barbini did a major renovation to our 95 year old home. The upgrade he completed, on budget and as scheduled, blended perfectly with the character of the house and today still looks spectacular.

Late last year we asked him to take on a new challenge. We urgently wanted a new bedroom & ensuite bathroom in the basement and we wanted it before Christmas. We did not realize how unrealistic that timetable was until work commenced with demolition and removal of the original messy basement tubs, gas pipes, water pipes, drain connections etc.

But Amedeo was undaunted, He promised to do his best and he delivered. Key to meeting the schedule was Amedeo's ability to have at hand the many sub trades necessary to complete the job. Without any delays they came and did their work sequentially--plumbers, framers, electricians, dry wallers, finish carpenters etc. And they all did quality work.

Amazingly it came together and the outstanding "studio" was ready by mid December. Also we asked that it not look like a basement room...and it doesn't. It looks more like it belongs in the penthouse of a hi rise condo.
